York V Fleetwood Town at Bootham Crescent - Match Preview

Coulson could be back for City

York striker Michael Coulson could return to the squad for the home game with Fleetwood.

Coulson has been restricted to six appearances this season but returned to full training this week following his latest foot injury.

Manager Nigel Worthington, who otherwise has a full-strength squad to choose from, is expected to revert back to a 4-4-2 formation following the midweek draw at Chesterfield.

Wes Fletcher could return to the starting line-up alongside Ryan Jarvis in attack, while the likes of midfielder Tom Platt, winger Sander Puri and forwards Richard Cresswell and Ryan Bowman are all in contention.

Fleetwood are waiting on the fitness of Stephen Jordan ahead of the trip.

The defender continues to struggle with a groin injury and is unlikely to be involved as the Cod Army aim to end a run of three games without a win.

Alan Goodall has returned to training following his groin problem but he is unlikely to dislodge on-loan left-back Charlie Taylor from the starting XI.

Town boss Graham Alexander dropped Ryan Crowther, Junior Brown and David Ball ahead of Tuesday night's defeat to Scunthorpe but the trio are pushing for recalls.
