Fleetwood Town V Exeter at Highbury Stadium - Match Preview

Cod Army at full strength

Fleetwood will once again have an injury and suspension-free squad as they look to make it five straight wins in all competitions at home to Exeter.

The Cod Army have been fortunate with injuries ever since the start of the season and a healthy squad is one of the reasons why Graham Alexander's team find themselves in the upper echelons of the Sky Bet League Two table.

Alexander has named an unchanged XI in his last three games and, given current form, could continue that trend at Highbury.

The likes of club captain Mark Roberts, midfielder Stewart Murdoch and striker Jon Parkin all played 90 minutes for the reserves in midweek in a bid to retain match-fitness should they be needed.

Exeter are sweating on the fitness of eight first-team players ahead of the trip to Fleetwood.

Pat Baldwin, Liam Sercombe, Christy Pym, David Wheeler, Jake Gosling, Aaron Dawson and John O'Flynn have all been in the treatment room this week with knocks and niggles while Sam Parkin is another doubt having missed the 2-0 defeat to Newport last week.

But new signing Danny Butterfield could travel after a good first week of training with the club.

The experienced former Crystal Palace and Southampton right-back signed for the Grecians last weekend and if Baldwin fails to make it then he could be handed a first start.
