Fleetwood Town V Barnet at Highbury Stadium - Match Preview

Fleetwood boss Micky Mellon could make changes again as his side host Barnet.

Mellon recalled Youl Mawene and Steven Gillespie last weekend following the 5-2 defeat against Port Vale, but the Cod Army failed to score for the first time in seven games.

With Anthony Barry the only injury absentee through his long-term knee problem, Mellon has plenty of options to freshen things up.

Joint top scorer Jon Parkin was an unused substitute in the goalless draw against Bristol Rovers and is pushing for an inclusion this time out.

Tom Barkhuizen and David Ball are further options in attack while Alex Marrow and Barry Nicholson are also pushing for starts.

On-loan defender Ash Eastham is available after extending his loan spell to a second month earlier in the week and could feature in defence.

Barnet will assess the fitness of three players ahead of the trip.

Midfielder Mark Byrne and winger Andy Yiadom missed last weekend's goalless draw at home to Rotherham with ankle knocks and could return along with young forward Jake Hyde, who was carrying a knee injury.

Former Fulham striker Collins John has signed this week but he is short of match fitness.

Forward Jon Nurse has been struggling with back spasms but will be in the squad along with defender Barry Fuller, who played last week despite a facial injury.

Graham Stack continues in goal as Liam O'Brien is still recovering from a hernia operation, while full-back Danny Senda and striker Steve Kabba remain long-term absentees with knee injuries.

Boss Mark Robson will not make too many changes after last week's encouraging display, although the Bees are still looking for their first win of the season.
